Stephenie Meyer is moving on from vampires to covert affairs: The author of the best-selling Twilight series announced her new novel is a thriller for adults called The Chemist.

The Chemist is the love child created from the union of my romantic sensibilities and my obsession with Jason Bourne/Aaron Cross,” Meyer said in a statement. The novel centers on a burned female operative on the run from the United States government. She places her trust in her former handler in the hopes of getting “the giant target off her back.” And it wouldn’t be a Stephenie Meyer novel without some romance: The heroine is falling for the wrong man at the wrong time.

In the press release, the writer said she wanted to create a female protagonist “whose primary weapon isn’t a gun or bulging muscles, but rather her brain.”

Meyer attained enormous fame after the publication of Twilight in 2005 and its subsequent sequels. She has previously published one other novel for adults, 2008’s The Host.

The Chemist is expected out Nov. 15, 2016.
