Trump Organization Executive VP Donald Trump Jr. and attorney/media personality Kimberly Guilfoyle, his girlfriend, paid $9.7 million for a waterfront mansion in Jupiter.
Sheri B. Nelson, the ex-wife of former New York Yankees pitcher Jeff Nelson, sold the 11,270-square-foot home at 494 Mariner Drive, in the Admiral’s Cove neighborhood, to the politically prominent couple.
The seller was represented by Rob Thomson of Waterfront Properties & Club Communities, while the buyer worked with Joey Fago of APB. The price equated to $860 per square foot.
The home last traded for $3.49 million in 1999.
It was built on the 1.18-acre site along the Intracoastal Waterway in 1995. The home features six bedrooms, five bathrooms, six half-bathrooms, a pool, a summer kitchen, a fireplace, a bar, a home office, a balcony, and a dock.
Thomson, who lives in Admiral’s Cove, said the neighborhood has excellent security.
“Admiral’s Cove has pretty much any amenity you could want,” Thomson said. “It has 36 holes of golf, 504 private docks, a private guest house, a private marina, and a phenomenal club and spa.”
This deal continues the migration of the Trump family to South Florida after leaving the White House. Former President Donald Trump lives in Mar-a-Lago on Palm Beach while daughter Ivanka Trump and husband Jared Kushner are living in Surfside after buying a property for what could be their future home in Indian Creek Village.
Meanwhile, Eric Trump and Trump Jr. have listed a home at 1125 S. Ocean Blvd., Palm Beach, for sale after buying it from their aunt several years ago.
