  1. I enjoyed this article very much. I am a professional cinematographer and have worked many years filming documentaries (for other directors) in the Peruvian Amazon. These projects became successful fund raising films for Save the Children and the Intl. Red Cross. Currently I am preparing a short documentary to be filmed in the Peruvian Amazon showing the strong undercurrents of Globalization. I am presently raising the necessary funds through Go Get Funding and other sources. Good to read about your terrific project.

Well written article and so interesting to hear about what’s going on with this group of indigenous people that I first learned about when I had Dr. Napolean Chagnon as an undergraduate in cultural anthropology at UC Santa Barbara! Thank you Julie Klinger and your team for bringing these women here to tell their stories. I’m sorry I missed the lecture!
