Lawsuit: Charlie Sheen is suing Capri Anderson for extortion

He might be suing porn star Capri Anderson, alleging she tried to extort him for 'at least one million dollars.'

But Charlie Sheen was singing a different tune after the incident last month at a New York hotel.

According to TMZ, the 45-year-old sent Anderson a series of flirty text messages mere hours after the event, telling her he would send her $20,000 to make up for destroying her handbag.

Capri,22, texted him to say: 'u trashed my brand new prada purse dude not cool - how u managed to rip the strap off and put 2 holes in it is beyond me.'

Charlie responded with: 'All I need is an Acct number etc and I will wire u 20k if u think that will cover everything ... I really feel bad, u are as cool and sexy and as sweet and fun and friendly as they get!'

After offering her the money, Charlie says, 'Don't worry about our mutual friends, deal with me directly and I promise u kind lady, all will be restored and set straight.'

And he texted her again that night at 6:28 PM, saying: 'Just landed, perhaps we can speak tonite....?'

'Yes u can call me.  I don't have a bank account believe it or not,' Capri replies.

Charlie says, 'Oh, well in that case, lemme put together a plan to get u square and flush.  Can u tok (sic) for a sec now sweetie?'

And then: 'Good news!  My asst Rick is good friends with a cat named Mark (last name redacted) in NY, he will get the wire, cash that bitch, and deliver it to u where ever it's convenient ... I'll get the ball Rollin in am, and have data for u asap after that...☺'

The transaction never happened in the end.

And Anderson allegedly spoke openly to Denise Richards about being a prostitute on the night itself.

'Denise was asking her questions about her life as a prostitute,' one source told RadarOnline.com.

Charlie filed his lawsuit against Anderson on the same day Anderson gave a revealing interview to Good Morning America about the events which occurred in Sheen's Manhattan hotel room last month.

She is said to have locked herself in Sheen's hotel bathroom when he allegedly trashed the room, before police were called.

On her television interview, Anderson said she was filing a criminal complaint against the actor, alleging he hurled lamps at her, choked her, lunged at her with a suspected knife and threatened to kill her.

The papers allege that Anderson, real name Christina Walsh, 'decided this was her chance to become rich and famous,' and say that she 'fabricated a sensational tale about being assaulted, battered and held against her will.'

They add that she 'also used that fictional story as a basis for an extortion plot against Sheen, threatening if he did not pay her at least one million dollars' she would go to prosecutors in Aspen with her false allegations' presumably in an alleged attempt to get Sheen's probation violated.

According to the lawsuit, Anderson's allegations 'seek to embarrass Sheen and attempt to damage his career by going to the media with his false tale.'

The suit goes on to say that:  'At no time did Sheen assault, batter or threaten Walsh. Nor did he hold Walsh against her will.'

Sheen also accuses Capri of stealing his $165,000 Patek Philippe watch and 'intends to expose Walsh for the fraud that she is, and to seek redress for her unlawful attempt to extort an exorbitant sum of money from him based on sheer lies and deceit.'

Meanwhile, Anderson's lawyer said the adult actress was due to meet with New York City police today and file a civil lawsuit against Sheen in a Los Angeles court, alleging battery, assault, false imprisonment and emotional distress.

Anderson initially did not tell police about Sheen's alleged criminal behaviour after the incident at Manhattan's five-star Plaza Hotel on October 25.

But in Sheen's lawsuit, filed in the L.A. County Superior Court today, Anderson is labelled an 'opportunistic, pornographic film star and publicity-hungry scam artist.'

Her lawyer, Keith M. Davidson, who claims Sheen offered his client money to keep quiet, said: 'She's filing a police report against Mr. Sheen today. She's going to the NYPD and [will] report the action.'

During a live appearance on Good Morning America, Anderson told how she was offered $3500 to go to dinner with Sheen.

She said he became louder as he drank more alcohol, and began to use unspecified racial slurs.

'He definitely was growing more intense as the night grew and went on. It's hard to say being that it was my first time hanging out with him if it was normal of his everyday behaviour or not. He seemed like a very egotistical person.'

Anderson claims she spent most of the dinner speaking to Sheen's ex-wife, Denise Richards. She and Sheen and others then went for drinks.

But Anderson said she was asked by a friend of Sheen's, called Rick, to escort him back to his hotel room and make sure he stayed there.

'At this point he was fairly intoxicated,' she said.

But she said that when they got to the room, things turned ugly.

'I was sitting on the edge of a coffee table and he was serving us both drinks and he was snorting something,' Anderson said, recalling it was a 'white powdery substance.'

She said she took off her clothes but he got violent.

'When I became really uncomfortable is when he put his hands around my neck,' she said.

Fighting back tears, she said: 'He started throwing things. He threw a lamp. That was the first thing he picked up. And he threw it across the room at me. When he started throwing things at me I became shocked, scared.

'I saw him pick something up. I'm not sure if it was an envelope opener or knife. I was shocked. I didn't know what to do.'

Police were called to the hotel that night and Sheen, America's highest-paid TV actor, was taken to hospital for psychiatric evaluation. But no charges were filed.

Mr Davidson said Sheen's legal team had offered Anderson money for her silence.

'Mr Sheen had sent Miss Anderson a text message the day or two days after the incident offering her money for her silence.

'It was a substantial amount of money,' he said.

She says she didn't take anything from the star.

'I think the conversation ended there,' Anderson said. 'This whole situation has been extremely tough.

'My credibility and my actions have all been questioned already. My name has been slandered and my family has been harassed.'

Sheen's lawyer Yale Galatner has issued a statement saying that Sheen won't pay the porn star a penny.

'Ms. Anderson never made any allegation of wrongful conduct.... the night of the incident. She has posted on her website that she was 'fine' after the incident,' the statement read.

'We will defend this lawsuit vigorously and will never pay her a dime.

'These allegations against Mr. Sheen are completely false and are a blatant attempt to cash in on his celebrity.'
