There’s not much more I can say that hasn’t already been said by other reviewers: a gorgeous azahar (orange blossom) fragrance. If anything I’d say the neroli steps back for the orange blossom to be front & centre of the composition. The woody notes provide a strong backbone, and if you’re concerned that it might be too “pretty” or “delicate” or “feminine”, you may be pleasantly surprised. Quintessentially Spanish. Discontinued now, haven’t tried its successor Agua Fresca de Azahar.

Beautiful, clean, fresh, delicate orange blossom and green bark, not too sweet. I always get compliments when I wear this, a masterpiece orange blossom scent, one of my all time favourites. One of Dominguez best creations.

Imagine standing at a bay surrounded by neroli and orange blossom trees, hit by mediterranean soft wind and you hear a giggle of children playing around. Azahar is abbeautiful hesperides creation. Zesty, airy, care and full of happiness.

Fierce Swan Scent

Spain and happiness in a bottle and one of my great summer loves, which I keep coming back to. Spray this and you perceive orange and light yellow colours, with a tiny drop of dark green. Citrus, bright blossom, the suggestion of a crushed green leaf, and a touch of compatible spice - citric coriander. Whoops, I've cracked a branch and now I'm getting the scent of wood too. This is what you might get when you want the smell of cologne but longer lasting. I agree with curlykitty8, this is fantastic for the price. And any age or gender can wear this. There are no rules, only your frame of mind and preference.

As a consummate citrus lover I have to say that Azahar easily competes with bottles 10 times its humble price.
The beauty of this version of the VERY Spanish orange blossom is that it takes this sumptuous flower and ramps it up several notches to something fresher, woodier and mult-dimensional. Close your eyes and you are surrounded by orange groves in full bloom in Granada!
Adolfo Dominguez knows what smells Spanish and bottles it to perfection!

Combo Tip: Dec. 2018
Azahar at neck and solar plexus and L’eau de Issey Miyake Pure Nectar on arms bright fresh for winter. Issey Pure helps to anchor the orange blossoms into a winter style. Nice.

June 2018 I’ve spent the month of June/July in Spain. Found this in Gibraltar and I’m very happy. It is a classic Spanish scent and that’s exactly what I wanted. Pretty, fresh and authentic Spain. What a wonderful souvenir I can keep smelling once I’m home in the States.

This is a scent for mature ladies, not recommended if you like to smell young. It also gives me a little bit of masculine impression, maybe because it's spicy and heavy. I ordered it because I thought it would smell fresh, natural, pretty close to real orange blossoms... but absolutely far from my expectations :(

Reminds me of spring in the south of Spain. A great citrus floral for the warmer months

Some Truly natural citrus flowers and fresh white flowers blend with warm transparent woods. As the people says it is a modern "zagara" fragrance, neroli, orange blossoms, dominant notes, but in a luminous bright way.

Sophisticated and classy without being cologne at all.
It is real new interpretation of a kind, very modern, fairy, silky, airy, vestal, virginal, romantic, a pacific joy.

Saharienne by YSL has copy I presume this concept and creation, or without accuse: it is very similar... notes of kenzo by kenzo in the heart.

This is a basic perfum on my mother's collection, but I find it too strong smell for a young woman like I am.

I spryed it once on my neck on a summer hot day and I ended up with a headache (I'm serious). This is good because it means with a little bit of this perfum you are done, so the bottle can be really long lasting.

I find it interesting for a mature woman, sophisticated and elegant. Ideal for a elegant date or special time.

I got this as a sample when I was on holiday in Majorca ages ago-the shop assistant told me it was a very popular in Spain but maybe not that well known in the UK. Personally, I'd never heard of it, but its absolutely lovely and worth seeking out. It's a smooth citrus-not sharp, not bitter, and it doesn't carry that unfortunate toilet-cleaner citrus that many citrus fragrances have. There is a woody note which smooths it out, and the neroli is gentle and slightly sweet, but not overly so. Its a very natural scent with a very definite 'outdoor walk through the orange trees' aura. Its a simple fragrance, but not linear. The longevity is poor and the sillage is minimal. This is a light, fresh, feminine summertime holiday fragrance, especially for warm countries or holidays, and well worth looking out for-its beautiful.

This is a really lovely neroli fragrance, very gentle though and fresh, not heavy. Uplifting, makes me feel very happy when wearing it. A daytime scent, very pretty.

I love the smell of orange blossoms, but unfortunately from this perfume all I can get on me is a strange mix of herbs with recently cut grass. It must be a not so happy combination between this one and my skin. I would have loved to get the scent of orange blossoms in this bottle...huge dissapointment

trialogica

The scent of orange tree garden blown by the afternoon breeze in a bottle. Citrus with a touch of woody note, all with pleasing natural ingredients.

Azahar means Orange Blossom in Spanish and this fragrance is a great addition to any fragrance wardrobe especially if you live in tropical climate.
