She attended Thomas’s London Day School and Alleyn’s School, South East London.

She went on to forge a successful career as the vocalist and songwriter of the indie rock band Florence And The Machine.

Welch featured on Calvin Harris’ song Sweet Nothing, which earned a nomination for Best Dance Recording at the 56th Grammy Awards.

The song debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart and peaked at number 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
