I love the size of the candles (medium) and especially the name "Peace & Tranquility". The candles, with the wood top, are beautiful and I immediately lit one of them straight out of the box! These candles are pure white which certainly conveys an aura of peace and tranquility. I know I will order them again and no doubt try some of the other fragrances. The scent of Peace & Tranquility is barely discernible even when I put my nose close to the flame. I could only smell the soy not Cashmere Jasmine. I will admit though that I rarely buy candles because the scents are too overpowering. Chesapeake Bay is a definitely a winner with this one!

This candle comes in a beautiful frosted jar that looks lovely when it’s lit. It has a wood lid that can be used as s coaster while the candle is burning. That is where my compliments end. Just like every other candle in this section of Chesapeake products, the delicate jasmine/baby powder scent is non-existent. Hot or cold, I was barely able to notice, let alone appreciate the scent when I burned it for several hours in a small closed bathroom. Complete waste of money. I can’t even give them away. Two stars for the pretty jar only..

From the second I opened this candle I was in love. I immediately got online to purchase more on clearance (which makes me slightly nervous that it is being dc'd). It smells perfume-y but also clean and beachy. It brings to mind a warm summer night with the windows open and a breeze blowing in. It really is intoxicating. It's similar to their desert flora candle but I like this one better. I'm subtracting a star bc I bought about 8 more of the medium size candle and they have much less fragrance in them even while burning. I'm going to return and swap out for a few more of this size and hope it's the same level of scent.

Edited 3/31: This candle is also available on Amazon marketplace and comes in various sizes (medium, large and coffee table size) as well as a diffuser which I had no clue about! I just bought another 2 pack to put in other rooms of the house! Excited!

This candle is fabulous! My sister was using this in her house and the smell was so delightful I had to pick up some for myself! This candle is a soy wax blend so it has a slower burn time. I use mine on a candle warmer to softly diffuse the scent through the house without an open flame, so it doesn't mix with a burning smell. The scent is a soft warm floral with notes of cashmere and jasmine. Delicate and feminine and brings an innocent sensuous ambiance to the home environment.
